In my opinion, the most time efficient way to collect your Revelation is to complete the Expert Roulette at least five days out of the week, for 90 Tomestones each.
If you want to maximize your resources then make sure you hit that weekly cap or you’ll miss out on some potential buying power.

How to Earn Tomestones of RevelationĪs a limited Tomestone, you’re gated on how many Tomestones of Revelation you can gain each week. Trade these in with Auriana at Mor Dhona. For my 1800 Phantasmagoria above, I’ll get 450 Allegory. Phantasmagoria are now unusable, but you have until the next expansion to trade them in for Allegory at a rate of 4:1.

Revelation are the new limited Tomestone, replacing Allegory. You are still capped at holding 2000 Tomestones of each type. When a new Tomestone type is introduced, it kind of just slides everything else down one tier.

I’ll briefly go over which gear to prioritize buying first, depending on a couple different types of goals. Tomestones of Revelation will be your new weekly capped Tomestone, and you’ll want to make sure you hit that cap every week if you want to gear up your main Job as soon as possible. Patch 5.4 of FFXIV brought us a new tier of Tomestones for players to earn and spend on new high-end combat equipment.
